Aboriginal Healing Outside the Gates is up and running in Mission, BC! Check out the webpage or see the invitation to participate.
Check out the Conferences page to see some of the things we have been up to! ![]() We are women
who have been incarcerated. We are
women who seek to be empowered emotionally, spiritually and in our
mental and
physical health. We achieve
this through the participatory
research process where women, academics, volunteers and members of
community
agencies come together with common goals and values. Started in prison, the participatory research project has evolved to help women engage in the community and find the resources that are available to have healthy, happy, and successful lives.
We gratefully acknowledge our funding sources and partners.
